Based on methods developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center,

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is the practice of cultivating non-judgmental awareness in

day-to-day life. Mindfulness develops the potential to experience each moment, no matter how difficult

or intense with clarity. Researchers suggest MBSR facilitates overall well being, better sleep, increases oneÕs

ability to cope with stressful situations, improves self-esteem and renews enthusiasm for life and work.
