 The brief mission statement of transpersonalstuff.org:
This site is focused on transpersonal content. Right now, we have a small number of academic papers on a range of transpersonal topics. Yes, indeed, we are a modest operation; we are however looking to grow. Therefore your contributions are wanted for submission at content[at]transpersonalstuff.org.
The more detailed origin and sort of mission (by John, the site founder):
Like all projects, this project began with an idea. Psychology, for me, represents the intersection of numerous philosophical traditions and disciplines with the other important pieces of being human, namely the lived experience. My approach to psychology has evolved into a humanisitic endeavor aimed at mind, body, and spirit. I ended up where I am because of spirit, and therefore I want to work toward giving back to spirit and aligning myself with its flow. Therefore, I decided to create a space on the web for myself, and others who would like to participate in a journey, a journey toward the transpersonal. I am hoping to pack this site with as much rich information as I come across. While the focus of this site will be on my academic pursuits, I will also be including my personal journey. Likely my personal journey will enter the space of this website through articles, poetry, art, and videos.
